C-1 is a paygrade used within the Civilian Corps. With the exception of the Sphinx Forestry Service, it is the equivalent to the RMN rank of E-1 within The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. Within the Sphinx Forestry Service, this paygrade denotes a minor between the ages of 5 and 8 years old.
The Diplomatic Corps, Special Intelligence Service, Sphinx Forestry Service, Royal Manticoran Astro Control Service, and Royal Manticoran Merchant Marine all make use of this paygrade.
Forms of Address
Each of the civilian branches have their own paygrade titles and forms of address. The forms of address for C-1 is outlined below:
