BuShips Directive 2001-04 was issued on 3 January 2020 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new Executive Officer for HMS Insurmountable (SD-465).

Commander Vandeventer:

You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Insurmountable (SD-465), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Executive Officer, relieving Commander David Breland, RMN, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.

The above directive is effective on this date, 03 January 2020.


The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Commander Breland for his service as Executive Officer of Insurmountable and wish him all success in his future endeavors.
