BuShips Directive 1908-01 was issued on 09 August 2019 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new bosun for HMS Rigel.

CC: CAPT (JG) Alice Fawcett, OG ME, CGM, EM, RMN, Commanding Officer, HMS Rigel (BC-591)

Chief Petty Officer O’Donovan:

You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Rigel (BC-591), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Chief of the Boat (Bosun) relieving Senior Master Chief Petty Officer Marge Duff, NS, RMN in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.

The above directive is effective on this date, 09 August 19.

The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Senior Master Chief Petty Officer Duff for her service as Chief of the Boat of Rigel and wish her all success in her future endeavors.
