BuShips Directive 1907-01 was issued on 09 July 2019 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new bosun for HMS Tristram.

Petty Officer Third Class McDaniel:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Tristram (DD-479) there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Chief of the Boat (Bosun), relieving Chief Petty Officer Daniel O’Donovan, RMN, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby brevetted to the rank of CHIEF PETTY OFFICER, RMN.
The above directive is effective on this date, 09 July 2019.
