BuShips Directive 1905-04 was issued on 21 May 2019 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new bosun for HMS Merlin.

Petty Officer First Class Willard:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Merlin (CA-270), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Chief of the Boat (Bosun), relieving Senior Chief Petty Officer Ziggi Thompson RMN, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby brevetted to the rank of CHIEF PETTY OFFICER, RMN.
The above directive is effective on this date, 21 May 2019.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Senior Chief Thompson for her service as Chief of Boat (Bosun) of Merlin and wish her all success in her future endeavors.
