BuShips Directive 1903-09 was issued on 13 March 2019 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new commanding officer for SMS Scharnhorst.

Re: Change of Command, SMS Scharnhorst (SD-227) (BuShips Directive 1903-09)

OB Balyeat:

You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard SMS Scharnhorst (SD-227), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Kapitain der Sterne Sir Robert Hampson, GCE, OM, GS, QBM, IAN, in service to the Grand Alliance. Fail not in this charge at your peril.

Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby breveted to the rank of KAPITAIN DER STERNE, IAN.

Additionally, you are further directed to make the following appointments to your command staff:

The above directive is effective on this date, 13 March 19.

The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Kapitain der Sterne Hampson for his service as Commanding Officer of Scharnhorst and wish him all success in his future endeavors.
