Re: BuShips Directive 1901-02, List of Honor Nomination Period Now Open

As of 0001Hrs, January 1st, 2019, the nomination period is open.

Chapter CO’s shall submit nominations to d3sl@buships.trmn.org, and cos@buships.trmn.org no later than 2359(CDT) on January 31st, 2019.

The highest Honor a Ship can receive is to be named to the RMN List of Honor. The Third Space Lord has the Privilege and Honor to be the Issuing Authority for this Award. This is open to all hyper-capable chapters in TRMN.

This is a competitive award (only ONE ship each year can ever be named to the List at this point in time). The award eligibility period is from 1 January 2018 through 31 December 2018. Keep in mind as well that it’s entirely possible for a chapter to not be named on the List of Honor for this year.

We will announce the ship, if one is selected for this award, no later than 15 February 2019.

Due to high caliber of this award, submissions must be detailed.

Since a ship action or singular event places a ship on the List of Honor in the books (Such as HMS Fearless on Basilisk Station), only ship actions taken/performed during the 2018 calendar year are to be considered. Chapters that have received the award in the past have done well with a chronological review of the year for which they submitted their winning bid. Be creative with these submissions, and really let us know what makes your chapter stand out. We will be looking over these awards thoroughly, and at the chapters as well in MEDUSA and our historical registries.

If your chapter has been a recipient of the List of Honor Citation in the past, you must wait at least three years from the time it was awarded before submission for a subsequent award.

Details for the list of Honor may be found on page 89 of the Awards Manual ( http://www.trmn.org/portal/index.php/do ... A3q-uy5HV0 ). If you have any questions about the nomination process, please contact us at buships@trmn.org . We will be happy to clarify or respond to inquiries.

Chapter CO’s Shall ONLY send submissions to both d3sl@buships.trmn.org and cos@buships.trmn.org .

Any/all nominations received after the deadline of 2359CDT on January 31st, 2019, SHALL NOT be considered.

In Service,
