BuShips Directive 1711-01 was issued 03 November 2017 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive designates the flagship of the Bureau of Communications.

Milord:
Effective 03 November 2017, HMS Achilles (BC-549) is hereby designated as the flagship of your command, the Bureau of Communications. Achilles is further directed to fly your pennant upon her hull, which should be embellished with three red stripes as befits the level of your command within the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Any previous directives or orders regarding Achilles’ status as flagship is hereby overridden and/or rescinded.
