BuShips Directive 1710-01 was issued 14 October 2017 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new command triad for HMS Valkyrie.

CDR Stiglich:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Valkyrie (SD-355), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby breveted to the rank of CAPTAIN (JG), RMN.
Additionally, you are further directed to make the following appointments to your command staff:
- LTJG Arthur Henecke, DGC, RMN (RMN-1782-14) is appointed as EXECUTIVE OFFICER, and is hereby breveted to the rank of COMMANDER, RMN.
