BuShips Directive 1702-05 was issued 17 February 2017 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new command triad for HMS Siren (CLAC-13).

Lieutenant Ferris:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Siren (CLAC-13), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer in service to the Crown, relieving Commodore Eddy Roberts, RMN. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
You are further brevetted to the rank of CAPTAIN (JG), RMN, as befits the requirements in service of this new billet.
Additionally, the Personnel listed below are appointed under your command in the related capacities:
- LTJG Brennan Theler (RMN-2524-14) is appointed as COLAC, and is subsequently brevetted to the rank of LIEUTENANT COMMANDER, RMN.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express its appreciation to Commodore Roberts for his service as Commanding Officer.
