BuShips Directive 1608-04 was issued 9 August 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions GNS Paul of Tarsus (DD-56).

Attention to Orders:
Effective as of 0001 Hours on August 9, 2016, by order of the Third Space Lord, ADM Lord Sir John Roberts, KDE, SC, Earl New Mecklenbergand the High Admiral of the Grayson Space Navy, ADM Lord Sir Thomas Saidak (Tom Saidak), KDE, DSO, Steadholder Henesey, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the commissioning of GNS Paul of Tarsus (DD-56). This is a Paul-class Destroyer and is assigned to the Grayson Space Navy/Fourth Fleet (Wokingham, Berks, UK).
The following Naval personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to GNS Paul of Tarsus (DD-56):
