BuShips Directive 1605-01 was issued on 4 May 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive commissions HMS Hellhound (DD-446).

Re: Commissioning of HMS Hellhound (DD-446)


Attention to Orders:

Effective as of 0001 Hours on May 4, 2016, by the order of the Third Space Lord, ADM Lord Sir John Roberts, KDE, SC, Earl New Mecklenberg, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the commissioning of HMS Hellhound (DD-446). This is a Wolfhound-class Destroyer and is assigned to the Tenth Fleet (Nanaimo, BC).

The following Naval personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to HMS Hellhound (DD-446):

  • LTJG Sir Mark Gledhill, KCE (assigned as CO of HMS Hellhound)
  • LTSG Robert Day (assigned as XO of HMS Hellhound)
  • PO3 Kyle Polkinghorne (assigned as Bosun of HMS Hellhound)
  • S2C Rowan Wilson
  • S2C Thomas Demkiw
  • S3C Kevin Smith
  • S3C Avi Paul Woodward-Kelen

The following brevets are hereby authorized:
