BuShips Directive 1503-05 was issued 25 March 2015 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions HMS Aegis (CL-396).

Order Text

My fellow Members of the Grand Alliance,

Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on March 25, 2015, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Aegis (CL-396), under the command of Commander Matthew Parker. This is an Avalon Class Light Cruiser and is assigned to the Sixth Fleet, based in Lincoln, NE.

As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are assigned to HMS Aegis:

• Commander Matthew Parker (assigned as CO of HMS Aegis)
• Lt. Commander Pamela Cole (assigned as XO of HMS Aegis)
• Chief Petty Officer Michael Parker (assigned as Bosun of HMS Aegis)
• Lieutenant, j.g. Joshua Stamm
• Midshipman Logan Cole
• Spacer 3rd Class Matthew Cole
• Spacer 3rd Class Jamie Darlington
• Spacer 3rd Class Jacob Cole
• Spacer 3rd Class Clint Blome
• Spacer 3rd Class Phil Wasta
• Spacer 3rd Class Jeremy Wagner
• Spacer 3rd Class McKenze Anderson
• Spacer 3rd Class Robin Childs
• Spacer 3rd Class Cory Childs

The following personnel are breveted in rank as indicated below:

• Pamela Cole to Lieutenant Commander
• Joshua Stamm to Lieutenant, junior grade

This action also places HMS Bedivere (DD-486), into the reserve fleet for future use as needed.
