BuShips Directive 1110-01 was issued 30 October 2011 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions GNS Albion, the first ship in Great Britain, and the second international chapter.
Order Text
My fellow Manticorans, Effective as of 0001 Hours on October 31, 2011, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of the GNS Albion, DD-42. This is a Grayson destroyer under the Command of Lieutenant Commander Martyn Griffiths and is assigned to the Grayson Space Navy.
The Executive Officer of this Ship is Lieutenant (s.g.) Ian Tregale
The CPO for this Ship is Chief Petty Officer Chris Bates
As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are breveted to the indicated ranks below:
- Martyn Griffiths to Lieutenant Commander (GSN)
- Ian Tregale to Lieutenant sg (RMN) (and assigned as Executive Officer for GNS Albion)
- Chris Bates to Chief Petty Officer (and assigned as Chief Petty Officer for GNS Albion)
- Tim Houghton to Ensign (RMN)
- Andrew Knipe to Second Lieutenant (RMMC)
