BuShips Directive 1103-03 was issued 24 March 2011 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissioned the GNS Matthias (DD-28) as the first Grayson ship.
Order Text
Effective as of 0001 Hours on March 25, 2011, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of the GNS Matthias (DD-28). This is an Apostle-class Destroyer under the Command of LCDR Anne Zecca and is assigned to the Grayson Space Navy.
As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are brevetted to the indicated ranks below:
- Jack Yeager to Lieutenant sg (RMN), Also appointed to serve as Executive Officer
- Frank Parker to Petty Officer 3rd Class (GSN)
- Bryan Jones to Lieutenant jg (GSN)
- Donna Parker to Petty Officer 3rd Class (GSN)
- John T. Erb to Spacer 2nd Class (RMN)
