Buplan Order 1710-02 was issued 22 October 2017 under the authority of the Second Space Lord. It appoints a Marketing Officer to the Second Space Lord's staff in the Bureau of Planning.

On behalf of the Second Space Lord of the Royal Manticoran Navy, Rear Admiral of the Green, Dame Diane Bulkeley, KDE, MC, KR, SC, DSO, QBM, CBM, Duchess of Mountain View it is my duty and pleasure to announce the appointment of Captain j. g. Paul McPherson to the post of Marketing Director for the Bureau of Planning, effective 12 October 2017.
Captain McPherson, you are hereby instructed to report to BuPlan to assume your new responsibilities. Congratulations and welcome aboard!
