Buplan Order 1710-01 was issued 09 October 2017 under the authority of the Second Space Lord. It appoints a Historian to the Second Space Lord's staff in the Bureau of Planning.

On behalf of the Second Space Lord of the Royal Manticoran Navy, Rear Admiral of the Green, Dame Diane Bulkeley, KDE, MC, KR, SC, DSO, QBM, CBM, Duchess of Mountain View it is my duty and pleasure to announce the appointment of Fregattenkapitän Ekkehard Rolfs, IAN, as the Historian for the Bureau of Planning.
Fregattenkapitan Rolfs, you are hereby instructed to report to BuPlan to assume your position as Historian. Congratulations and welcome aboard!
