Admiralty Order 1801-01 was issued 11 January 2018 by the First Lord of the Admiralty. This order gives retires and appoints new Marshal of the Army and High Admiral GSN.

As of the publication of this Order, the following is effective:
As of January 1, 2018, the following retirement from the Royal Council is effective: Marshal of the Army Kevin Horner is hereby retiring and is reduced in Rank to Field Marshal. I wish to personally thank him for his service to TRMN and wish him a good retirement.
As of January 1, 2018, I hereby appoint Brigadier General Peter Gordon, Baron Cumberland Moore, to the post of Marshal of the Army, with the Rank of Marshal of the Army. I welcome him to the Royal Council and wish him luck in his assignment.
As of January 13, 2018, the following retirement from the Royal Council is effective: High Admiral Tom Saidak, Steadholder Hennessey, is hereby retiring, and per tradition, will be permitted to keep the rank of High Admiral, with the postnominals (ret.) as long as he does not take another Command. If he should take another Command, he will be reduced to the appropriate Rank for the Command, which will revert to High Admiral (ret.) upon stepping down from the Command, or upon death.
As of January 13, 2018, I hereby appoint Rear Admiral David Melsome, Steadholder Maelstromm, to the post of High Admiral of the Grayson Space Navy, with the Rank of High Admiral. I welcome him to the Royal Council and wish him luck in his assignment.
Both of the new Royal Council members should work to establish their Staffs, and inform the Chief of Staff for the First Lord of the Admiralty as this task is accomplished.
They are officially seated as Junior Vice Presidents of The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc., effective as of January 13, 2018
