Admiralty Order 1701-02 was issued January 7th, 2017 by the First Lord of the Admiralty. This order defines the criteria for awarding the Queen Elizabeth III Coronation Medal.

Effective immediately, this Award is granted to any member who served during the 12 Month Calendar Year beginning on 01JAN17. This is to celebrate 10 years since the founding of The Royal Manticoran Navy, The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association and may be worn by any member who qualifies. This overrides any other date printed with the award in any manual or website.
