Admiralty Order 1612-07 was issued December 19th, 2016 by the First Lord of the Admiralty. This order announces the resignations of the First Space Lord of the Royal Manticoran Navy and the Marshal of the Royal Manticoran Army, as well as announcing those officers succeeding them and appointments to other ancillary roles as a result.

Effective as of midnight, Eastern Time, December 31, 2016 to January 1, 2017, the resignations of Fleet Admiral of the Green Scott Akers, First Space Lord, and Marshal Robert Jackson, Marshal of the Army, from these roles, as well as their positions on the Royal Council, will be effective. These two Officers have served The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. with great honor, and have dedicated almost 9 years and 6 years respectively to their respective roles. As a thank you for their service, each of these two will be rewarded, effective January 1, 2017, the Order of the Crown for Naval Service and Order of the Crown for Army Service respectively.
Subsequent to this, effective as of 12:01am Eastern Time, on January 1, 2017, the following Officers are called up to step up to the following roles.
To fill the role of First Space Lord, Admiral of the Green John Roberts, Commanding Officer, Bureau of Ships, will be appointed, and promoted to the rank of Fleet Admiral of the Red. He will also take up a seat on the Royal Council as the representative of the RMN on that body. The Space Lords and Numbered Fleet Commanders will report into him as of that time. The IAN and RHN will report up via their respective Fleet Commanders for Operational issues.
To fill the role of Marshal of the Army, Brigadier General Kevin Horner, Chief of Staff of the RMA, will be appointed, and promoted to the rank of Marshal of the Army. He will also take up a seat on the Royal Council as a representative of the RMA, IAN, and RHN on that body. All Army Commands will report into him as of that time, and the IAN and RHN will report to him for Administrative issues.
To fill the role of Commanding Officer, Bureau of Ships, Commodore Michael Garcia, Deputy Commanding Officer, Bureau of Ships, will be appointed, and promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral of the Red. All BuShips responsibilities transfer to him as of that time.
As of January 1, 2017, Fleet Admiral of the Green Scott Akers will transfer to the Office of the First Lord of the Admiralty as the Liaison to BuNine and Liaison to the Webers, and serve as Special Advisor to the First Lord of the Admiralty. He will be on Medical Leave through MantiCon 2017.
