Admiralty Order 1107-05 was issued July 31, 2011 by the First Lord of the Admiralty. It establishes HMS Polaris for Team Events.

The HMS Polaris, CA-212 is the Official Ship to be used for all Team Events. This would be any event at which one or more ships are represented and where there are not enough members for each ship to play on their own. It will also apply whenever a member of Admiralty House is present. The Commanding Officer of the HMS Polaris will be the Officer who organized the event. In the case that this person is Enlisted, then they may either act as Commanding Officer or select an attending Officer to fill this role.
This is done to enable everyone to work together at an event without putting any specific ship first. Individual ships will still be recognized through their bi-monthly reports where they can include participation at an HMS Polaris Event.
The HMS Polaris, CA-212 will not be available as a Chapter Name.
