Buplan Directive 1812-02 was issued 10 December 2018 under the authority of the Second Space Lord. It is Appointment of the Assistant Historian position in the Bureau of Planning.

As of midnight on December 10, 2018, Deputy Director Of Operations Wayne Bruns, GCE, MC, CR, CGL, SC, OG, GS, QBM, CBM is hereby appointed to the position of Assistant Historian with the Bureau of Planning with all rights and responsibilities associated with that role.
Deputy Director Bruns has served the organization in many capacities during his tenure and we are thankful that he will be joining the BuPlan staff to assist in the collection and publication of TRMN history.
Deputy Director Bruns, please report to Bureau of Planning Intelligence Officer, Captain JG Zachary McCauley, post haste for desk assignment. Welcome to the team!
