History
Iwo Jima was brought into commission on 23 April 2011 under the command of CAPTJG Jan Cabrnoch, by order of BuShips. This ship was the fourth ship ever to be commissioned in TRMN and the first (and for a long time, only) ship in Seventh Fleet, based out of Czech Republic. Despite there being an active group located in their country, they chose to join TRMN. However, since their chapter already existed as US Marine reenactors, they only agreed to join if they were allowed to keep their marine status. So they were given the designation of Transport, which was later canonized by the Creator himself.
Formally commissioned at Festival Fantazie 2011 in Chotebor, they have been one of the most active chapters in the organization, becoming the frequent focus of many newsletters since their commission. After the disaster on board HMS Loki, they picked up their survivors. They annually have an "Iwo Jima Training Camp", organized usually during August in the area of Camp Sawmill in Chocenická training grounds near Pilsen. This event is focused on the development of theoretical and practical skills in the field of military and airsoft. This event is led by members of the chapter, who for years moved in airsoft reenacting. They continue to participate in Festival Fantazie, BloodCon, and the two state visits the Prime Minister made to the Czech Republic.
