Protector's Order 0102-17 was issued January 3, 2017 by the High Admiral of the GSN. It announces results of the Black Sphinx Cup final challenge.

Re: Black Sphinx Cup Final Challenge Announcement (Protector's Order 0102-17)

To all members of 4th Fleet.

I am happy to announce the conclusion of the third and final challenge in the 4th fleet's challenge cup. This challenge was the "training" challenge, involving passing rank and rating exams. A great number of exams were passed by all, well done to all involved.

The winner of the third challenge was the GNS Paul of Tarsus, congratulations to you all. As special recognition for the efforts of the St Paul, a ship that only commissioned just before the challenge period, I hereby award the following awards.

As of the date of this order, by my hand, and by the authority of Benjamin Bernard Jason Mayhew IX, Protector of Grayson, for exemplary service to the Grayson Space Navy in the training challenge, and standing to their test, I hereby award the following officers the Sword's Cross in Steel:

  • Lt Cmdr Misha Sumra (RMN-3639-16)
  • Lt (SG) Sam Hall (RMN-2724-14)

Furthermore, for exemplary service to the Grayson Space Navy in the training challenge, and standing to their test, I hereby award the following enlisted personnel the Armsman's Cross in Steel:

  • Spacer 2nd Class Sarah Brider (RMN-3637-16)
  • Chief Petty Officer Tobias Cooper (RMN-0682-12)
