BuTrain Directive 001-22 was issued on 12 July 2022 by the Sixth Space Lord. It announced a hiatus for the Isaiah Mackenzie Naval Academy.

| Re: | Resignation of IMNA CO and IMNA Development Hiatus. |
Captain Richard Davenport, GSN has requested relief from his duties as IMNA CO, and has been granted that consideration. We want to thank Capt Davenport for his dedication to IMNA over several years as both the IMNA TSC CO, Deputy CO, and CO of the Academy.
This leaves IMNA with no senior officers, so we are placing IMNA in a development hiatus. IMNA will remain open, and existing instructors will mark courses. Issues arising in the rank courses will passed to IMNA TSC CO or to the 6SLs office.
All development will be placed on hold, until the 6SL and HA have had an opportunity to discuss the direction and shape of IMNA as it moves forward.
