* Shall represent and speak for their Division at all organizational functions.
* Recommend Officers for Senior Leadership Positions
* May issue Division wide orders to guide the membership within their Division.
* The day-to-day operations of the Royal Manticoran Navy [[branch|service branch]]
* Shall issue all awards not mentioned previously and oversee the issuing of lower awards by fleet and chapter leadership.
* Coordinate the various Administrative Offices and Bureaus of {{trmn}}
* Shall oversee the management of Division designated fleets/armies, echelons and chapters.
* Call and Chair a Quarterly Administrative Meeting of {{trmn}} and inviting the [[First Lord of the Admiralty]] in addition to the [[Space Lord|Space Lords]] or [[Fleet Commander]]s as appropriate.
* Shall work with BuSup to ensure members can obtain the necessary items for their Division’s uniforms.

The Office of the First Space Lord (abbrev: 1SL, FSL) is Commanding Officer for the Royal Manticoran Navy. This office currently occupied by Admiral of the Fleet Sir Michael Romero, Earl of New Williamsburg. The First Space Lord acts as the Chief of Naval Operations for the RMN which means they lead all of the numbered fleets within the RMN.

Duties

Per PD-BOD-0006 point 10, the duties of this position are as follows:

  • Shall represent and speak for their Division at all organizational functions.
  • May issue Division wide orders to guide the membership within their Division.
  • Shall issue all awards not mentioned previously and oversee the issuing of lower awards by fleet and chapter leadership.
